1. Who can request deletion?
Any person whose personal data PUBLISERE handles may make a request, even without a direct account. Authorized organizational administrators may request removal of organizational information within their rights. If a customer organization controls the data, we coordinate with it.
2. Email your request
Contact info@publisere.com with subject PUBLISERE data deletion request. Include the associated email or telephone number, your organization if relevant, the affected channel (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and a description of data to remove. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, API tokens or complete medical files in your first email.
3. Identity and handling
We may request proportionate information to confirm identity or authority. We will evaluate whether PUBLISERE is the controller or processor, coordinate with the customer or channel provider as appropriate, and explain the result. Requests are free. Under Ecuadorian law, eligible deletion requests must be addressed within fifteen (15) days of receipt, subject to applicable exceptions.
4. Disconnect Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
You may revoke app access from the available Facebook/Instagram settings for apps, websites or business integrations. For an organization-owned WhatsApp Business connection, ask your administrator to disconnect it in PUBLISERE services and review the authorization in Meta Business where applicable. Revoking access can stop future access but does not automatically erase independently retained records. Email us as well if you wish to delete information stored in our systems.
5. Lawful retention exceptions
Certain records may require continued retention for tax, healthcare, contractual or legal duties, valid orders, security, or legal claims. Organization-controlled information may need action from that organization. Messages may also exist independently in third-party services or participants’ devices. We will explain relevant limits.
6. Other rights and follow-up
You may also request access, correction, objection or other legally available rights. Reply to the same email thread for status. Where rights remain unresolved, you may contact the relevant data protection authority subject to local procedures.
For personal data requests, reach our privacy contact directly.
